Program Introduction

Overview

Hanyang University ERICA's Exchange Student Program offers opportunities to students from partner institutions to study for a semester or a year in one of Korea’s top universities, located in the Seoul metropolitan area.
In addition to academic excellence, students can enjoy various student activities and cultural experiences.

Eligibility

  • Must be currently enrolled in a higher education institution
  • Must have completed at least one (1) semester at the time of application
  • GPA 60% and above, and either :
    • Minimum TOPIK level 3, or
    • CEFR B2 in English (for students taking courses in English)

  • All areas excluding Pharmacy

Medium of Instruction / Credit

Medium of Instruction
  • Courses are taught in Korean or English.
Credits and Transcript
  • 1 HYU credit = 15 contact hours
  • Students can take up to 20 credits per semester
  • An official transcript will be issued

Fees and Expenses

Tuition Fee

Under the student exchange agreement, exchange students are exempt from tuition fees at the host university, as long as they maintain their enrollment status at their home university.

Housing

On-campus Dormitory : Apporx. 300,000 KRW/month

Off-campus Accommodation : Above 450,000 KRW/month

Personal Expenses

Food : Approx. 400,000 KRW/month

Personal Expenses : Approx. 250,000 KRW/month
