Approximately 500~600 courses are offered in English per year within various departments. Exchange students are allowed to take courses from different departments upon availability. The most up-to-date course list is available a month prior to the beginning of the semester. Until then, students should refer to the previous year’s course list.

Course Registration

Before coming to Korea, you will register for courses online. During the course registration period, you can freely add or drop your desired courses. Hanyang's course registration system works on a "First Come, First Served" basis. A detailed schedule and instructions will be sent by email in mid-late July (Fall Semester) or mid-late January (Spring Semester).
But please note that course registration is very competitive in most Korean universities not only for international students, but also for domestic students, as well. Once the registration starts, some courses become full at the peed of light. Information on how to register for courses that are already full will be provided later. You can also register for courses from different departments or majors,
but OIA cannot guarantee 100% acceptance, as some professors may not accept you if your background in the course’s department or major is insufficient. Additionally, undergraduate students from your home university will not be allowed to take graduate courses.
* If you have any essential courses required for graduation, we strongly recommend you take them at your home university.

Please note that all exchange/visiting students (regardless of level of study at one’s home university) be enrolled at the ERICA Campus as undergraduate students only. This applies to graduate-level students as the Office of the Graduate School is located on the Seoul Campus. Graduate students will have no problem in registering and taking graduate courses at ERICA. You will be informed regarding this later.

Transcript

To reduce paperwork and be more eco-friendly, we're now sending transcripts only electronically. Both students and home university coordinators will receive the e-transcript by the end of January. If you need the hard copy, please contact ericaincoming@hanyang.ac.kr.
*Please kindly note that the host university should pay for the postal service fee for the hard copy of the transcript.

The transcripts for students who study at Hanyang for two (2) semesters will be sent to the home university only after the end of the 2nd semester. Extra fees will be charged if students wish to receive additional transcripts of the completed program.
